In this #GoodSynergy podcast episode focusing on placemaking, we meet two professionals working at the grassroots: Nathan Coyle (Director - New Union) and Rich Collins (Creative Director - Sortified).

Skilfully interviewed by Yvonne Field (Founder & CEO of The Ubele Initiative), this compelling conversation goes beyond the niceties of why placemaking is a good thing to have, challenging us to think about how it can be leveraged to do more, be more and disrupt the systems, reaching marginalised and minoritised groups.

About the Interviewer - Yvonne Field

Yvonne Field, guest interviewer for this episode, has a lifelong personal and professional commitment to working with Black and racially minoritised communities, women, young people and next generation leaders.  She founded and leads The Ubele Initiative, an African diaspora led, infrastructure plus organisation, empowering Black and Minoritised communities in the UK, to act as catalysts for social and economic change. To achieve this, they work with community leaders, groups, and organisations in the UK and beyond to strengthen their sustainability, resilience, and voice. Ubele is taken from Swahili meaning ‘the future’.
